Our studio is growing, and we’re looking for a few amazing people to join our awesome team. Maybe that’s you!
Every team member at Normative has a clear vision of what the future should be, and the passion to help build it. If you’re interested in creating software products and services that push boundaries and passionate about exploring the overlap between design, culture and technology, we should talk.
Are you an experienced researcher who’s passionate about understanding human behavior? Are you fascinated by the nuances of our everyday interactions with each other, our built environments, and technology? Do you want to study a variety of complex problems in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere with a bunch of talented people?
Normative is a design and innovation firm working at the intersection of business, culture and technology. We are looking for a Design Researcher to join our dynamic, multi-disciplinary studio environment.
In this role, you will be involved in projects from beginning to end - from client discovery, recommending research approaches, research design, data collection, analysis, synthesis and presentation. Our projects involve multi-disciplinary teams and this role collaborates closely with software developers, a variety of designers, and strategy folks across all seniority levels of the organization to help bring insights into action.
To apply, please send a CV and cover letter to email@example.com with the subject “Design Researcher.”
Normative means as things ought to be and that’s how we think, work and practice everyday. We seek the overlaps between our core disciplines: research, design and development because it’s those tensions that allow us to push the boundaries of what we can, and ought, to do. Everyone on our team has a growth mindset and gets to work on some of today's most interesting challenges, using the latest approaches and technologies.
There are many other great things about working at Normative including excellent benefits (with fun stuff like massages!), flexible work hours, work-from-home options, extended vacation and more.
Most importantly, we respect each other immensely and are here to work on complex problems together. If this sounds like you, please apply!
Being an innovation leader means having to make difficult decisions every day with imperfect information. You imagine new possibilities, but they are obscured by the complexity of a world that never stops moving.
